Preparing for Season 2 of B&H is super exciting, but also makes us feel pretty technologically old... All these fast-paced shenanigans like Twitter, Vine, YouTube keeps us on our toes, along with the dreaded "BLOG". What does one write on a blog? Why is it so fascinating? Who knew my thoughts could be deemed so follow-able! Next thing you know, I'll be posting pictures of my food, my latest purchases, and closeups of my eyeballs... but I digress.
All that is to say that we're pretty enthusiastic (!) about the idea of this blogging thing, if we can get the hang of it. Overall, there are lots of stereotypes about classical musicians. Some are true, others not so much. At any rate, we want to give you some day-to-day glimpses of our life as a duo. Things we find interesting, epiphanies we have, routines we develop, yadda yadda. In the end, we're not as weird as we may seem. Maybe we are, but hopefully not.
ANYWAY, we've come up with some great ideas for the new season. Our program, for starters is going to include some works by Debussy, Paart, and Prokofiev, to name a few. We're planning some easy, kick-back events called Sunny Bow and Hammer for some casual, light-hearted, fun-poking concert clips. These will be on the first Sundays of each month, starting up in October. Lastly, our first formal-er concert is October 18.
