Forktalks: The Dawson

Hey All,

Here's some more info on The Dawson.  This is NOT your typical restaurant. Just look at it:


This space is amazing. Inspired by the Dawson brothers who owned a fireplace and mantle company, inviting and warm are built into every nook and cranny of this place. Once you come in, you just want to stay forever with a fancy blanket and a book. Kudos to Billy Lawless (the Gage, Henri) on creating a wonderful ambience to visit.


Now, let's talk about the food. The Dawson has gathered some serious press since its opening in 2013, including Crains, Chicago Eater, Zagat, and TimeOut Chicago, just to name a few. Executive Chef Shaun King and Beverage Director Clint Rogers clearly know how to make an impression.


How does this relate to BH? Well, we get to play here with KAIA String Quartet on Tuesday, November 17 (in 5 days). Yup, right in this room:
