INDUSTRY NIGHT: COALFIRE EDITION
Hi all!
Tonight (Tuesday) at 8p is our latest installment of "Industry Night"! We are so lucky and excited to present COALFIRE PIZZA as our restaurant collaborator for the evening. For those of you who don't know this place, follow the link to their website!
As a small background to this place, film director John Hughes loved its pizza so much, he modeled his own kitchen to resemble the coal fire ovens that make Coalfire's pizzas still.
Tonight, you get to eat John Hughes' favorite pizza. We hope you're as eager as we are!
Can't wait to see you at 8p!
Sincerely,
BH

Friends and Other Events in our Community
Hello everyone!
We just had a very nice concert at Sherwood Community Music school, giving a special thank you to our donors, and sharing some of our stories from our Italian trip! Thanks so much to all of you who came and supported us!!
A crucial component of our success as an ensemble is the community support we have received from those around us. The often daunting and sometimes overwhelming responsibility of founding and maintaining a quality group would not be possible without those willing to cheer us on.
This blog is to pay our support forward to some other groups and events occurring that we are excited about, and feel are worth sharing with you (as individuals, we were privileged to work with them!!). Please check them out!
1. THE MEDIUM, by Gian Carlo Menotti, presented by Third Eye Theatre Ensemble
**Kit worked with Third Eye as assistant director in this wonderfully chilling production that addresses pertinent issues in today's society while bringing opera to an intimate level.
When: October 24, 25, 26, 31, November 1, 2 (LAST WEEKEND!)
Where: Collaboraction's Pentagon Theater in the Flat Iron Arts Building
1579 N. Milwaukee Ave., Suite 336

Purchase tickets at
http://thirdeyete.brownpapertickets.com
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

2. MODE ENSEMBLE
** Elizabeth worked with Mode on their last concert event, "The Green Fairy". They create a complete atmospheric experience to enhance the musical performance. "The Green Fairy" included a collection of French composers, and guests were invited to join for a pre-concert cocktail of Absinthe.

Hello 2014-2015!
Hi everyone!
I can hardly believe fall is upon us! It feels like we just got back from Italy last week (or at least that's what we'd like to believe).
Check out the changes to our website, and our concert dates for this season!
We just played a concert at First United Methodist Church in Arlington Heights, IL. It was BEAUTIFUL, and we were so happy to bring our suburban friends a more convenient location!
Here are some pictures from the event:
Our NEXT concert is our THANK YOU concert, with a special shout out to those donors who helped support us on our tour to OrvietoMusica this past summer. We would be so happy for you to join us, at 1312 S. Michigan Ave, on Friday October 24 at 7:30p!
To stay updated on our concerts and/or our bloggings via mailings (if you haven't already), please click on our "CONTACT" tab, and shoot us an email!
See you soon,
BH

Italy! The prequel!
It's official folks! We're going to Orvieto, Italy (you probably already knew this)! What you probably DIDN'T know is that YOU can help us! We have been saving and planning like mad for the past 7 months, but we still need some help to meet our financial goals. We have launched a campaign called "b&h go to Italia!" via Indiegogo. Any contributions will help! If you can't help financially, we completely understand! Please spread the word to anyone and everyone!
ALSO, a HUGE thank you to ANNIE LERUM for getting us kicked off! She is the first contributor to our fund, and we couldn't be more grateful to you! *HUGS*
All right, on your mark, get set, GOO!
